What is microblading?
Microblading is a semi-permanent eyebrow procedure that mimics the appearance of real hair to beautifully shape and fill brows.
Is there anything I need to do prior to arriving for my microblading appointment?
Please avoid alcohol, caffeine, aspirin and/or ibuprofen for at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.
Please let us know if you've recently had Botox or are considering it. Because Botox can alter the position of your brows, it should be performed no later than at least 2 weeks prior to your appointment.
Also, please advise of any allergies or medical conditions you have, as well as any medications you are taking prior to your appointment.
What can I expect when I arrive for my microblading procedure?
When you arrive, please take a seat and make yourself at home. Someone will be out to greet you when it's time for your appointment. There will be a couple of forms for you to fill out before you begin your procedure.
How long does it take to get my eyebrows microbladed?
Microblading takes about two hours. This includes shaping the brows and numbing the area that will be microbladed, as well as measuring for the perfect shape prior to beginning the procedure.
How long can I expect the microblading last?
Microblading can last up to two years, however, most clients choose to get a touch up once a year.
Can the eyebrow microblading be completed in one session?
Most clients schedule an initial session and a perfecting session, which is included in the total cost. Some clients may need an additional session.
Will I feel any pain during the microblading procedure?
Most clients only feel a slight discomfort with microblading, as the procedure requires making small cuts into the brow area to apply the semi-permanent coloring. We do use numbing cream to help ease the discomfort.
What if my eyebrows turn out darker than I expected?
Your eyebrows will be darker immediately after the procedure. They will lighten in about one to two weeks.
Are there any restrictions I need to follow after my microblading procedure?
Yes, it usually takes between 7 and 10 days for the skin to completely heal. After your appointment, you will be given a detailed list of after-care instructions.
How long before I need to get my eye lash extensions filled?
Eyelash extensions last between two and four weeks, but most clients get them filled every two to three weeks.
